I am a dedicated Mac user. I absolutely love working on a Macintosh computer. I've used Macintosh computers for over 20 years; I have several Macs networked together at home. I have also used Windows PC's; I have even supervised a computer lab in which I set-up and networked several PC's. However, my over-riding platform of choice is the Mac. Over the years, I have invested a lot of money, time, and effort to learn the Macintosh software programs listed below, and, like other people, I am faster, happier, and most productive when using the tools I am most comfortable with. So, I am exclusively interested in work environments which respect that choice by allowing me opportunities to use —and to master— Macintosh hardware and software to get the job done. I currently work on a PowerMac G4, an iMac G5, and a MacBook Pro (laptop). I have a well-equipped home office, high-speed Internet access, printers, scanners, video conferencing capabilities (via iChat or Skype), so I will provide my own computer hardware and software for on-site contract assignments or work-from-home situations (preferred). |
